Cal Fire Contains Wildfire Near Cool
COOL (CBS13) - Highway 49 was temporerly closed as fire crews battled a wildfire about a mile north of Cool.
Cal Fire reports the El Dorado Hills wildfire is in the remote area of American River Canyon in the Auburn State Recreation Area near the intersection of Highways 49 and 193.
Crews contained the fire at three acres but are remaining on the scene to clean up.
