Buy It and Try It: The Clever Clasp

It's supposed to connect your necklace, bracelets, and anklets with ease. It even has a built in safety lock to make sure it's on secure. Let's see if it works.
So, what is it about putting on bracelets or necklaces that makes women fed up?

"With these little claps, your fingers are either too short, or too long. They're never at the right size to get it on," said Kelly.

"I usually give it two minutes, give up, and try again," said Aly.

Two minutes might be an optimistic time frame.

We watched Liz trying to get her bracelet on the regular way:
"Trying to get the latch pulled back … I really can't put this on … My fingers are starting to hurt"
And, Finally: "This thing is impossible!'

Sometimes they just give up and change their plans.

"Change necklaces, which sometimes change the outfit," said Kelly.

The Clever Clasp should let you stay in that planned outfit. I gave them all my clever clasps to try out. Liz had bracelet. Both Ally and Kelly have necklaces. All you have to do is attach the magnetic parts to the spring and ring of your jewelry.

"The attraction is very strong I can't believe it," said Aly.

"It's tight so it looks like it'll hold, and I like it has the extra safety features, so you can screw it in," said Kelly.

A product like "The Clever Clasp" to claim it makes the task easier. After it all attached; we were in business.

"This is the true test.... it's locked...I'm doing the safety... and it's on!" said Kelly.

Liz liked the concept.

"It makes the bracelet too long though. look how long that is. Not for a bracelet, but good for a necklace I'd say," said Liz.

And Aly and her necklace?

"It's pretty cool actually," said Aly.

After walking around a bit with it on she was convinced.

"I'd buy it, sold. Done," said Aly.

CBS13 got it at Bed, Bath And Beyond for $9.99, which will get you four clasps—two in silver and two gold.
