Buy it and try it: Shamwow

At West Sacramento's Fire Station #45, the crew works hard to keep
their engines shiny red.

"Every morning, we'll hose them down," said one firefighter.

It takes a giant pile of towels to dry each engine. Can the infamous
Shamwow help them with that?

We have the crews hose down the engine. Engineer Bob uses a regular
towel, while firefighter Andy uses the Shamwow.

Both towels seem to do about the same job in the same amount of time,
but when they finish, the towel seems damp. What about the Shamwow?

"It feels like you can still get some more use out of it," Andy said.

In the infomercial, it shows the Shamwow sucking up water out of a
bowl so we poured eight cups of water in a bowl to see how much it
sucks up. It didn't quite inhale the water like a vacuum, but it
absorbed almost half of the water.

We wrung out the same Shamwow for one more test: An entire can of soda
spilled on the counter. In seconds, the Shamwow cleans it up.

The guys of Station 45 say they wouldn't say wow, but they are impressed.

"It's good around the station when you have a lot of people and a lot
of cleanup."

I paid $19.95 and bought it at Shamwow.com.
