Buy It And Try It: Keep Eez Vacuum Sealers

It's supposed to create a leak proof vacuum seal and fits your existing containers. Let's see if it works.

At Dinner My Way in Gold River, co-owner Roko Miles can help you prepare dinners you cook at home in just minutes.

"For people who don't have the time to do the prepping, the chopping and grocery shopping, we do all that for them," said Miles.

It costs about $20 a meal, that'll serve four to six people.

The best part, "No dishes, you come in and then you leave your dirty dishes and we clean up after you," said Miles.

But you have to store that food. I give Roko my Keep Eez vacuum sealers, something I bought last month after seeing the live infomercial at the state fair.

Host Quinten Severson claims these vacuum food sealers save you hundreds on plastic wrap and storage containers. It'll vacuum seal any container you already have, air tight!

"The most impressive, just this fast, I've got a sealed bowl," said Severson.

We bought five different sizes. First, we try a medium sized lid on a plastic container with water in it. All you do is push the plastic in the center of the lid, and it's supposedly sealed.

I flip it upside down, and nope, it holds. And no leaks! Now let's try a metal bowl filled with artichokes. This time our large lid squeaks as we seal it and it appears air tight. And again it holds! But just how durable are these lids? So, it's durable and seems to work.

You can buy a set of five for $29 plus shipping handling. It comes with a lifetime guarantee, but you'll have to pay handling costs for the replacements.
