Butte County Deputies Find 751 Marijuana Plants In Oroville, Berry Creek
BUTTE COUNTY (CBS13) — Butte County deputies arrested four people in two different instances and seized more than 700 pounds of marijuana in Oroville and Butte County on Thursday.
Deputies say they made the first bust on the 460 block of Chinese Wall Road in Oroville and arrested Michael Chan, 29 of El Cajon, and Damien Grall, 39 of Orange.
A search of the property revealed a large-scale marijuana operation which lead to the eradication of 510 plants. Deputies also found a honey-oil lab for creating the form of concentrated cannabis. Three guns were also located on the property.
Tran faces charges of cultivation and possession for sale, as well as being armed in the commission of a felony. His bail is set at $115,000. Grall faces similar charges and his bail is set at $1 million.
In a second bust, deputies arrested Jody Cook, 43 of Fortuna, and Angelia Davey, 42 of Fortuna. After a search of the Berry Creek property in the 520 block of Galen Ridge Road, 241 marijuana plants were destroyed.
Cooke and Davey were arrested for the cultivation and possession of marijuana for sale, and their bail is set at $1 million.
