Shasta County Fire Is 85% Contained

SHASTA COUNTY (CBS13) — A burn pile that was lit by Cal Fire on Friday has escaped containment and is now being fought by crews.

The fire is burning in the area of Walker Mine Road and Flanagan Road near the city of Shasta Lake.

Currently, the fire has burned roughly 88 acres and is 85 percent contained.
