Burglar Breaks Through Two Walls For Theft
YUBA CITY (CBS13) - A burglar so desperate to rob a liquor store, he broke into not one, but two businesses just to get inside.
The security system at the Lil' Stop Food and Liquor Store in Yuba City forced the robber to go to a Karate gym two doors down.
That's where he broke in and busted through the wall into a tanning salon before breaking through another wall into the liquor store's storage room.
He's then seen on surveillance video using a hammer to get into the register.
After 15 minutes of pounding, the robber got about a hundred dollars.
He also took about a thousand dollars worth of lottery tickets. But California Lottery officials have voided the serial numbers on those tickets making them worthless.
