Brothers Sentenced To Life In Murder Of State Corrections Officer
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- Two brothers convicted of killing a state corrections officer both received life sentences today.
Chong and Gary Vue were both convicted of first-degree murder in the 2008 death of Steven Lo. Both were sentenced today to life without the possibility of parole. Gary Vue was given an additional 20 years on top of life for an enhancement charge.
Their older brother, Chu Vue, is already serving a term of life in prison in connection to Lo's death.
Lo, 39, was shot in the driveway of his south Sacramento home on Oct. 15, 2008, as he was just about to leave for work.
Court testimony revealed that Lo was having an affair with Chu Vue's wife.
