Five Shot, Two Critically In Stockton
UPDATE 11:11 p.m. — Five people have been shot at a Stockton shopping center.
Police were called to the Holiday Plaza just before 8 o'clock.
When officers arrived, they say they found five people with gunshot wounds, two women and three men. Police say two victims are in critical condition.
It happened right outside of a business called the Smog Station.
This is the third shooting in the area in the last two weeks.
On Wednesday, there was a fatal shooting at the shopping plaza.
On Saturday, there was a vigil taking place there, and that's where the shooting occurred.
Police are not saying whether there is any connection between the two events.
The entire shopping plaza was shut down as police tried to piece together what happened.
So far there have been no arrests.
And police cannot say whether they are looking for one shooter or multiple shooters.
UPDATE 9:19 p.m. — The Stockton Police Department is asking anyone with any information about the shooting to call the Stockton Police Department at (209) 937-8377. Callers can remain anonymous.
STOCKTON (CBS13) — Stockton Police say five people have been shot near March Lane and Holiday Drive.
They say two of those five are in critical condition.
