Teen Found Dead In Calaveras County
WEST POINT, Calif. (CBS13) -- A Calaveras County man found a teen boy dead on his property over the weekend, and authorities are investigating the death as a homicide.
The Calaveras County Sheriff's Department said the West Point resident stumbled upon the dead body just before 1:00 p.m. Sunday while hiking on his property.
Investigators believe the victim is a 15-year-old boy, but are withholding an official identification until an autopsy is completed.
Few other details will be released, authorities said.
