Boy Escapes Abduction Attempt In Rancho Cordova
RANCHO CORDOVA (CBS13) – Sacramento Sheriff's deputies are searching for two men who allegedly tried to kidnap a boy in Rancho Cordova on Friday.
The boy, 12, was walking along Lincoln Village Drive near Explorer Drive at 8:30 a.m. when a Caucasian man pulled up in a white van and tried to force him inside, according to Sacramento Sheriff's spokesman Deputy Jason Ramos. While this was happening, the side door opened and a Hispanic man got out and tried to help pull the boy inside the van.
The boy was able to break free and run home.
Deputies have not released a detailed description of the vehicle.
