Boy Drowns In Family Swimming Pool
ELK GROVE, Calif. (AP) -- Police say a toddler drowned in a backyard pool in a Sacramento suburb.
The Sacramento Bee says the 2-year-old boy apparently slipped into the pool Sunday evening during a gathering in Elk Grove, where he and his parents were visiting family.
The coroner identified him Monday as Christopher Ramirez.
Paramedics were unable to revive the boy and he was pronounced dead at a hospital.
