Boy Arrested After Alleged Sexual Assault
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- A juvenile was arrested after an alleged sexual assault and foot chase at a home for troubled and abused children.
The Sacramento Police Department said the juvenile suspect, who has not been named, was caught attacking a juvenile girl behind the Sacramento Children's Home on Sutterville Road at around 7:15 p.m. and fled the scene when police arrived.
The boy, who may be as young as 15 years old, was taken into custody after allegedly trying to flee the scene.
Authorities said the victim and suspect knew each other.
Due to the ages of the involved parties, few other details have been released.
