Boreal Ski Resort To Open This Afternoon

DONNER SUMMIT (CBS13) -– Skiers and snowboarders are getting an early Halloween treat! Boreal Resort is opening today!

Boreal is opening one lift and run this afternoon at 3, making it the first resort in California to start the ski season.

The ski resort will operate the Nugget chair lift, which gives skiers and snowboarders access to one run.

They plan on staying open until 8 p.m. on Friday. Boreal also plans on opening from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday as conditions permit.
