Body Of Missing Hunter Found In El Dorado County
EL DORADO COUNTY (CBS13) - A body of a hunter who went missing in El Dorado County on Tuesday afternoon was discovered by search crews on Wednesday morning.
The body of the 50-year-old man was located by a search team at around 9 a.m. on the side of a mountain, according to El Dorado County Sheriff's Department spokesman Lt. Bryan Golmitz.
The man was reported missing at 3 p.m. In addition to El Dorado County Sheriff's Department Search and Rescue, 25 additional search members were involved in the search. Crews used OHV, K-9 and horses.
The cause of death is still under investigation. His identity has been withheld pending the coroner's confirmation.
