Body Found In Search For Missing Fisherman

GALT, Calif. (CBS13) – Search crews looking for a fisherman missing on the Mokelumne River near Galt say they have found a body.

Crews were searching the area Monday morning near Interstate 5 and Benson Ferry Road for Michael McBee. He was last seen Sunday evening.

A helicopter assisting in the search spotted a body about a mile down the road around 6:30 a.m.

Crews have not confirmed the identity of the body recovered, but Thornton Fire Fighters say it matches the description of McBee.
