Body Discovered At South Sacramento Park
SACRAMENTO COUNTY (CBS13) – Detectives say that a body was found at a south Sacramento park Saturday afternoon.
According to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department, people at Woody Hampton Park on Florin Mall Drive discovered the body around 2 p.m. The body was found face-down near a baseball diamond, deputies say.
Detectives found that the person had been cut multiple times with a knife, but they are waiting on the coroner's office to officially determine what killed the person.
No witnesses or leads in the case have turned up so far, detectives say.
