Blind Davis Man Sues United Airlines Over Ticket Kiosks
DAVIS (CBS 13) - A Davis man says he's sick of waiting in long lines at the airport and now he's doing something about by filing a lawsuit.
Mike May is blind and says United Airlines is discriminating against the visually impaired because their check-in kiosks are not equipped with a touch key pad or spoken directions.
He says after numerous requests, he along with two other blind individuals, have filed a class action lawsuit.
May points to Automated Teller Machines at banks that have been equipped with spoken directions for years.
United Airlines tells CBS13 that they comply with all laws and do not discriminate.
