Big Rig Hits Power Pole, Knocks Out Power To Lodi Neighborhood
LODI (CBS13) – A big rig sheared a power pole in half early Wednesday morning, cutting power to a Lodi neighborhood.
The scene is near the intersection of E. Harney Lane and N. Alpine Road.
California Highway Patrol says the trailer had some sort of mechanical issues as it was approaching the stop sign. The truck hit the poll, causing power lines to droop over the intersection.
Most power had been restored to the area by 6 a.m.
The big rig driver was not hurt in the accident.
