Just because this is one of Sacramento's oldest dinner theaters (in operation since 1989) doesn't make the experience less exciting. The action is fast, and there is plenty of comedy, suspense, fun and delicious food to go around during the event. Actors are dispersed throughout the venue and guests are given certain titles and tasks. The person coming closest to solving the crime wins a special prize at the end of the night. Children must be 11 years old or older.

You're not going to find a lot of drama or suspense at this particular dinner theater, as it's all strictly comedy. This upcoming event features Chicago-based comedian and filmmaker Brett Walkow, who has built a name for himself all over Youtube and social media, so tickets will sell out fast. Since this is a strictly 21 and over event, there's a two-item minimum upon entering. But the dinner menu has some tasty offerings including chicken wraps, nachos, quesedillas, and salads so come hungry.

Alonzo Bodden was the winner of Season 3 on NBC's Last Comic Standing so you know his performance will be good. Alonzo's act and demeanor is described as "cynical yet also good natured" so although you never really know what you're going to get from him, it'll be in good fun. Tommy T's has a sizeable menu filled with burgers, sandwiches and appetizers amongst your typical American fare, so bring your appetite. And at $20 for general admission, you can't complain about the price.
