William Land Park is the perfect place to spend the day. It houses the city zoo, a kid's amusement park, Fairytale Town, pony rides, and beautiful scenic picnic areas. The park boasts a beautiful pond with geese, and ducks circling its serene waters, and picturesque views. Just be warned, you may want to bring enough to share with the ducks.

On land previously used by the U.S Air Force, Mather Regional park is open to the public and offers an educational picnic spot. Where B-52 bombers once soared through the air, kites take their place. Sitting on 1600 acres, the park has a huge party venue great for picnics and birthday parties, a golf course, fishing in Mather Lake, rare wetlands to view sea creatures.
