Best Places To Celebrate Oktoberfest 2012 In Sacramento

Traditionally, Oktoberfest is a 16-day Bavarian celebration. For an authentic Oktoberfest experience, you would have to be in Austria or Germany. The American version of Oktoberfest is a tribute to the festival celebrated overseas which starts in late September and continues throughout October. Many places in the United States celebrate through October as well, taking the name quite literally. Following are four events in the Sacramento area paying homage to the Bavarian festival founded in 1810.
