The production of Richard O'Brien's "THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW" will be unlike anything you've seen before. Not a movie and not a sing-a-long, O'Brien takes this classic macabre story to new heights. Be forewarned: viewer discretion is advised. This show runs from October 16 through Halloween.

Fairytale Town says what it does and does what it says, providing kid-themed amusements in the Sac area. Halloween is no exception. With safe, fun trick or treating, you can take the guesswork out of finding a safe area to have your kids go door to door. The stage performance comes from their highly-trained puppet show. Additionally, the Sevilla Magic FX will hit the stage performing Captain Scarlet and the Magic Treasure Chest. It's a pirate themed magic show, with illusions for the whole family.

Zombie Train: Evacuation

Designed to scare the bujeezus out of you, the Sacramento River Train pulls it's best "World War Z" style performance. You're trapped in a train as a world gone mad with a zombie manifestation speeds by. You think you're safe in the confines of the locomotive, but then things get a bit intense. The zombies may have found their way inside the train. The ride lasts 40 minutes, with both "adults only" and "family friendly" tickets available. The excitement runs from 10/2 to 11/7, and if you show up early, you may be able to get in on the show, capitalizing on the event's make-up artists.
