Now, fall may not seem like a distinctly unique time to have a Polynesian festival, but the 6th Annual Sacramento Aloha Festival seeks to change all that. Educational exhibits, workshops, speakers and presentations and health and community awareness exhibits in combination a with cultural village component (Keiki Korner arts & crafts, merchandise and food vendors, Hawai'ian entertainment and art exhibit) makes the 6th Annual Sacramento Aloha Festival a 360 experience. Arrive early and bring a portable chair, as crowds are expected. Admission is free with a $10 parking fee.

And yes, with Oktoberfest looming, it's time to get your chug on at the Whole Lotta Brews festival in Folsom. From 6 to 9 p.m. attendees with have access to unlimited beer tastings and samples from local, gourmet food vendors, all set to a soundtrack provided by The Aaron Gayden Band. The event is a fundraiser for the Folsom Cordova Community Partnership which aims to reduce and eliminate childhood abuse and neglect in the region.
