Best Biker Bars Around Sacramento
If you're ready to head out on the highway, lookin' for adventure in the Sacramento area, there are bunches of biker-friendly bars around town. With live music, horseshoes, pool tables, gobs of grub, cold beverages, these are some of the best bets for biker stops in the Sacramento area.

With plenty of motorcycle parking, this biker-friendly bar is owned by riders. The joint features plenty of big screens, a full bar, pinball, pool tables, darts, shuffleboard and a boxing game for when the guys are feeling macho. Referee's runs two happy hours from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. with discounted drinks for both. Daily drinks specials include $2 Coors and Rolling Rocks and $3 bloody Marys. Referee's is famous for its $1.25 tacos, which diners may upgrade to shrimp for a 25 cents more, but the bar also offers a full menu and daily specials. For now, the music is on the juke, but word on the street is it's bringing back live music for this year as well as its ever-popular referee's raffle.

For an official poker run bike stop, or a hangout any day of the week, stop at Stoney Inn. With a variety of weekly events and specials, riders may start out the week with Nutty Mondays for a $3 back bar comedy show, $2 blended margaritas, barbecue oysters for $1.50 and $1 tacos and burgers. Tuesdays are open mic with a twist night, whiskey wild Wednesday gets you over hump day, Thursdays are for $1 purple hooters, Kamakazis and stoney apple shots to start off the free line danicing lessons, and Friday kicks off the weekend with more free country dance lessons, $5 prime rib specials, 50-cent drafts and $2 Long Islands. Saturday and Sunday ride on over for $1 Coors Light drafts and $3 Jack n Cokes. Stoney's brings special event concerts throughout the year and offers workshops for couples or solo acts in line dance, two step and west coast swing. Meal menus are available throughout the day and karaoke nightly.

Louie's offers seven flat screens, pool tables, pinball, darts, video golf and Wi-Fi and plenty of motorcycle parking for all of the riders in the pack. Four nights a week, the Lounge is jumpin' with karaoke, Wednesday is its live blues jam session, and on Fridays, scheduled music acts rock the house. This place features some of the best karaoke around.

A regular on the poker stop circuit for NorCal riders, Miss Darla's is noted for its great midweek fun. Karaoke is planned most nights of the week from 9:30 on. Hip hop doesn't roll too heavy here, but Harley riders are welcome. Bikers in general find this the place to go for a stiff drink that doesn't dent the wallet. Although this place doesn't serve food, riders have ready access to free pool tables Thursdays and Sundays.

Located in the town of Locke, Al's Place is the gem that serves as the perfect ride for bikers looking to visit a more historical locale. Built in 1915, Al's started out as the town brothel. Rumors circulate that the saloon's past owner, Al Adami, stirred drinks with his fingers and snipped the neckties of patrons to discourage dressy attire. Famous for its steaks and peanut butter, Al's is worth the bike ride. Insider tip: Don't forget to look up at the ceiling when you get there.
