Barefoot Bandit Robs Shoe Store...Takes Cash

SAN DIEGO (AP) -- San Diego police say a barefoot bandit robbed a shoe store but he took cash, not footgear.

The man pulled a pistol on the clerk Wednesday afternoon at the Payless ShoeSource on Saturn Boulevard.

Police say the man took an undisclosed amount of cash and ran off, still barefooted. He remains at large.
