Bank Robbed In Elk Grove
ELK GROVE (CBS13) -- Police are searching for a man suspected of robbing a bank in Elk Grove on Tuesday.
At 3:28 p.m., the suspect walked into a branch of U.S. Bank on 5000 Laguna Boulevard and handed the teller a note demanding money. The teller handed over the money to the suspect who walked out.
Witnesses reported seeing the man get into a compact, white, 4-door, mid-90s sedan. It was possibly a Mazda or Toyota, and had the letter X on its license plate. The car was last seen driving northbound on Franklin Boulevard.
The suspect is described as an African-American male adult, in his late twenties, five 5'10", and weighing 180-200 lbs. He was wearing a black beanie, dark sunglasses, a brown Cleveland Browns jersey bearing the number 32 and the word "BROWN" across the back. Under that he had on a black long-sleeve shirt. He was also wearing black gloves, baggy, dark jeans and white sneakers.
