Baby Girl At Center Of Amber Alert Found
MORGAN HILL, Calif. (AP) -- The baby girl at the center of an Amber Alert in the bay area has been found, KCBS Radio reports.
The infant has been located in the Salinas/Monterey area. Investigators are on the way to the location where the baby was found. It's unknown if the infant is injured or if the car she was in was also recovered.
Police say Mariana Corona was kidnapped in her mother's car outside St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church shortly before 2 p.m. Tuesday.
Police tell the San Francisco Chronicle that the mother had gone into the church, leaving the child alone in the backseat with the keys still inside.
Police say they are looking for a white 1991 Infinity Q45 sedan with the license plate number 5XJW448.
