Grant broke down week 1 of NFL action, taking phone calls from fans of all teams. 49ers fans had a poor showing in support of the team's opening weekend victory over the Seahawks, a failure that didn't sneak by the discerning eye of Mr. Napear.
In the 2nd hour, Grant peeked ahead at the Raiders' Monday night matchup against the Broncos. Kevin Harlan joined Grant from Denver before doing the national radio call for Westwood One. Harlan pointed to the experience of new Broncos' coach John Fox as a positive for a franchise in transition.
