Audio: The Grant Napear Show - May 3, 2011
Tuesday brought a lot to the table for the Grant Napear Show, with a full schedule of interviews, including a full breakdown of the Lakers/Mavs series.
Before getting to business, Grant talked about his tremendous golf experience of the previous weekend in Half Moon Bay - a weekend capped off by a little clowning around at the expense of former MLB outfielder Eric Byrnes.
The interview slate began with Bulls commentator Bill Wennington talking about how the Bulls will bounce back from a Game 1 loss vs. Atlanta.
Mark Followill of the Dallas Mavericks broadcast team followed up with a few thoughts on the Mavs' Game 1 victory, but even more about the joys of viewing Dodger Baseball at Chavez Ravine.
Lakers broadcaster Stu Lantz later talked about how all the extra playoff games and elongated seasons might finally be catching up to Kobe and the other Lakers.
The final hour had a pair of guests, starting with the Kings' VP of Ticket Sales and Service Phil Horn discussing the boom in sales compared to last year at this time. He also offered some options for this year's packages.
Grant finished with a little hockey talk, courtesy of Sharks radio analyst Jamie Baker, who says the team is peaking at the right time.
