Audio: The Grant Napear Show - March 15, 2011
Grant opened the show by informing a couple of lost text-messagers of the greatness that was Wayman Tisdale - on the court, off the court, and in the recording studio.
Near the end of the first hour, Marcus Thornton called in to recap last night's win against the Warriors in which Thornton scored a career-high 42 points. Thornton credits his teammates, notably Francisco Garcia, for helping to ease the transition after being traded from New Orleans to Sacramento.
Grant then welcomed DeMarcus Cousins into the studio for the last two hours, where the young big man displayed his fondness for Sour Patch Kids as well as his distaste for the grocery store. He also tells us that he doesn't need to look at an NCAA bracket to know that he likes Kentucky to win it all. DeMarcus took questions from callers about several topics, including John Wall's "theft" of the Rookie Game MVP award.
