Grant does the show live from the seventh annual Fred Biletnikoff Hall of Fame Golf Classic Tournament at Catta Verdera Country Club in Lincoln. In the first hour, Grant recaps the NBA finals, USC getting their 2004 championship revoked in a ruling announced today and Nascars Kyle Busch and his altercation with Richard Childress over the weekend.
JT the Brick, from FOX sports radio, joins Grant from Catta Verdera to talk about the Heat and the Mavericks first 3 games in the NBA finals. Also, JT gives his thoughts on the BCS stripping USC of the 2004 Championship and talks about the Raiders opponents this season and how he thinks they will do if there is a season played in the NFL. Next, Dallas Mavericks play-by-play announcer Mark Followill comes on the show to recap the series against the Miami Heat and previews game 4 of the NBA finals in Dallas tomorrow.
In the second hour, Grant does a rant on BCS, and is joined by former Oakland Raider great Tim Brown, who gives his thoughts on the NBA finals, NFL hall of fame, and talks about his father recently passing away and how difficult it's been for him. Also, Charles Davis from NFL Network and Fox sports comes on with Grant to talk about the latest headlines in the NFL, and Charles gives his thoughts on the BCS ruling that stripped USC of their 2004 Championship title.
In the final hour, Jim Otto former Raiders Center, joins the show from the Fred Biletnikoff golf tournament to talk about the Raiders starting to improve and may make the playoffs this season if they can keep the momentum from last season. Next, Mike Lamb reunites with Grant to catch up on his new projects since leaving the show and his involvement with protecting young athletes from concussions and avoiding long term affects from head injuries. To finish the show, Fred Biletnikoff comes on to recap the tournament today and give his thoughts on the Raiders, USC ruling and talks about his foundation in honor of his daughter.
