Audio: The Grant Napear Show - June 10, 2011
Grant had an action-packed Friday show lined up, full of interviews with Dallas Braden, Jerry Reynolds, Jon Barry, and Ralph Sheheen.
The show opened with more talk about LeBron James and his lack of crunch-time chops in the last two games. After his Game 4 disappearance, shock seemed to be the common response - after Game 5, the LeBron haters came out in full force, claiming to have known LeBron's shortcomings since day one of his career.
Oakland A's pitcher Dallas Braden joined the show to talk about his stint on the DL and recovery from surgery on his throwing shoulder. Dallas also touched on the A's recent struggles that have resulted in the firing of Manager Bob Geren.
In the second hour, Jerry Reynolds was able to pull himself away from the Stanley Cup Playoffs long enough to update Kings fans on Jimmer Fredette's recent workout in Sacramento and what else the team might be looking for the upcoming draft.
Later, ESPN NBA analyst Jon Barry breaks down The Finals, Dallas' edge in the series, and even the Mark Jackson hiring as head coach of the Golden State Warriors.
In the final hour, TNT NASCAR Pit Reporter (and Sacramento's own) Ralph Sheheen talks about the Sprint Cup Series, this weekend's race at Pocono, and the upcoming NASCAR event at Infineon Raceway.
