Today Grant took calls on several topics including LSU players allegedly being in a bar fight, the University of Miami potentially getting the death penalty, as well as Tiger Woods being named to the President's Cup team. Along with this, Grant interviewed Tunch Ilkin, Helio Castroneves, Marc Vandermeer and Greg Papa.
Pittsburgh Steelers' color analyst Tunch Ilkin came on the show to talk about last year's AFC North champions. Grant asked Tunch about how the Steelers will handle their very tough schedule. Tunch also talked about how different the Steelers are when Troy Polamalu is on the field from when he isn't. They also discussed Ben Roethlisberger and his progress on and off the field.
IndyCar driver Helio Castroneves was on with Grant today. Helio talked about his upcoming race at Infineon. Grand and Helio also discussed how Helio embraces his media responsibilities, and his attitude towards other drivers.
The radio voice of the Houston Texans, Marc Vandermeer was on today to continue the NFL previews. Marc and Grant discussed Matt Schaub and his leadership style, and how last season's breakout star Arian Foster will be utilized in Houston's potent offense. They also talked about how Houston has tried to improve their league worst passing defense from 2010, and Marc gave his prediction for how the Texans will finish in 2011.
Raiders radio play-by-play man Greg Papa joined Grant today to talk Raider football. Greg talked about how the Raiders plan to attack on offense with a bevy of young talent at both running back and wide receiver. Grant and Greg also discussed how the offensive line can improve, and how that will help the Raiders this season.
