The Raiders open up the NFL preseason tonight against the Arizona Cardinals and the Raider Nation was fired up, even for the exhibition season.
Tiger Woods also opened up the PGA Championship with an awful seventy-seven, overshadowing those on top of the leaderboard.
SI.com golf writer Michael Bamberger joined to break down Tiger Woods' opening-round debacle, which left Woods in danger of not making the cut.
Later, Raiders legend and broadcaster Jim Plunkett previewed Oakland's first preseason game Thursday evening. Plunkett also gave his thoughts on the progression he's seen in Jason Campbell over the offseason and some of the changes Hue Jackson has made.
In the final hour, after Grant's rant on Ron Artest's developing "contract" offer in the UK, CSN Bay Area's Mychael Urban outlined why the Giants have fallen flat over the last few weeks - suggesting that maybe some fresh faces from the minor leagues might be the remedy. Urban also explained why the Giants' recent failures against the Phillies don't necessarily project to long-term struggles against Philadelphia.
