Audio: The Don Geronimo Show - October 4, 2011

Today on The Don Geronimo Show, Dave is back from his sick day, and no one seemed to notice he was gone. Dave and Don do make a new bet though: Dave thinks that either Casey Anthony or Amanda Knox will appear in some form of porno within the next year. The guys also talk NFL, and go over the current fantasy and game pick records. Don also calls the Spin A Yarn restaurant in Fremont, CA that Chef Ramsay visited for Kitchen Nightmares this past week, and gets an interesting outgoing voice mail. We then hear a clip from The View, in which the hens on the show give their takes on the N word.

Don then finds a list of racial slurs on Wikipedia, and reads off the ones he can say on the air. Then, in honor of 10-4, Don and the guys do a little trucker talk, discussing CB radios, truck stops, and looking for "Smokeys." Don even calls a few truck stops. Don then informs us that Mexico has stolen his idea on short-term marriage contracts. The guys then play a bunch of the crappiest songs they've ever heard, including Eddie Rabbit's "Driving My Life Away," and Bobby Goldsboro's "Honey."

After discussing the excessive hoopla over the new terminal at Sacramento International Airport, Don tells us that Deion is divorcing his wife, because according to him, "she's become too famous." It is later discovered, however that Deion cheated on his wife, with a 19 year old, having Pacman Jones as his wingman. Today is also "National Improve Your Office Day," and Don reads a survey of the top 5 things people would do to improve their office. Don also reads a list of the top 5 casual dining places in the U.S., and since Phantom requested it, Don calls his favorite adult sex shop in Green Bay, the Lion's Den, and then Brett Favre's Steakhouse.

It's then time for the "Phantom News Hour." Today, Phantom talks about Rihanna not wanting to be a role model, and how she didn't know the "C" word was vulgar. He also tells us that Madonna is slated to perform at this year's Super Bowl, and how Hank Williams' Monday Night Football theme song was pulled from last night's broadcast because of a Hitler analogy he used for President Obama. Phantom also tells us that The Simpsons may be ending production after this season due to contract disputes, and reads of a list of Rock n' Roll Hall Of Fame snubs. And of course, Don wraps everything up with a caller 100!
