Audio: The Don Geronimo Show - October 31, 2011
Today is Halloween, and Don has all kinds of hijinx lined up for the show! First the guys talk about their night at the Sacramento Exotic Halloween Ball, and all the legal roadblocks that kept the guys from going onstage that night. They also talk about all the crazy costumes the people were wearing, especially the outfit (or lack thereof) that Dave's wife had on. Good Day Sacramento also stops by to see Don's vintage 1960's Batman costume. After Don tells us that Janet used a voodoo doll on Tom Brady to hex the Patriots so the Steelers would win yesterday, he sends Joe Ardinger and Craig out for the 2011 edition of "Trick Or Beer" Joe, a veteran of the bit from his old "Don and Mike" days, gives Craig a good schooling on how it's supposed to be done, but ends up getting more cheese than beer.
Don then goes outside the station in his Batman costume, and actually goes out onto Madison Ave. to greet the passersby He then brings in all the listeners who brought their dogs in costumes and parades them around the station and into G.M. Steve's office! The guys decide to give $250 and Foo Fighters tickets to the owner with the best dog costume, and $50 each to the rest of the contestants.
It's then time for the "Phantom News Hour." Among the stories today, Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries have filed for divorce, 2 billion more people live on the earth than 20 years ago, and The Farrelly brothers will make a Dumb and Dumber sequel! And of course, Don wraps everything up with a caller 100!
