Dave starts off the show with a recap of the Woman's World Cup finals played yesterday where Japan upset the US women 3-1 on penalty kicks in extra time after a 2-2 tie in regulation which sparked a debate about the lack of interest in female sports in general compared to male sports.
Next Mychael Urban from CSN Bay Area comes on the show to talk Giants baseball, including the new reality show on Showtime about the World Champion Giants, The Franchise. Urban then gives his thoughts on Brian Wilson's media stunts and the Giants trip later this week to the White House. After that, Dave has a CLUB 50 trivia contest for callers, then plays the weekends best sound bites and highlights.
After getting hundreds of texts about World Wide Wrestling championship this weekend, Dave is forced to talk about wrestling questions whether WWE should be considered a sport. After the WWE debate, Dave plays more sound bites of Ron Artest telling a bad joke about pot, former NHL star Joe Sakic making a hole in one to win 1 million dollars this weekend at ACC golf tournament in Lake Tahoe and plays audio of soldiers in Iraq asking celebrities to be their date to the Marine Corps ball. To close out the show, Grant Napear comes on to brag about his week in Tahoe at the celebrity golf tournament.
