Auburn Woman Takes Anti-Drunk Driving Message On The Road
AUBURN (CBS13) -- Hit by a drunk driver, an Auburn woman is now warning others before they get behind the wheel.
Sally Dawley survived a head-on crash 10 years ago. Now Sally's truck has handmade signs warning of the dangers of drinking and driving. One reads: "Dear Lord, please help find a cure for stupid."
She says her strategy is successful.
"There have been a couple of times at red lights I've seen people behind me read my signs and suddenly buckling up. I just saved your life," said Sally.
Sally has been driving her truck with these signs on it for more than four years.
