At Least One Killed In Placer County Fire
WEIMAR, Calif. (CBS13) – One person is dead and one person has been hospitalized after an apartment fire broke out in Placer County Wednesday evening.
The Placer County Sheriff's Department said the blaze broke out in a four-plex on the 200 block of Ponderosa Way under unknown circumstances.
One person was rushed to the hospital for injuries and firefighters found another victim dead inside the residence. The identities of the victims have not been released.
PG&E workers have been called out to the scene to investigate the cause of the fire.
