Armed Man Robs Woman Leaving Panda Express In Elk Grove
ELK GROVE (CBS13) – Police in Elk Grove are investigating the fourth armed robbery in a week.
The latest took place near Laguna and Stockton Boulevards as a woman was leaving a Panda Express restaurant.
Officers say as the victim walked to her car when a suspect wearing a ski mask approached and threatened her with a gun.
Investigators say the suspect stole her purse and took off in a car.
"There's always concern for public safety when have this type incident occurring in broad daylight hours," said Officer Chris Trim with Elk Grove police. "We've notified our beat officers that work area."
Police are also investigating three other armed robberies that took place at businesses near the intersection of Laguna and Franklin Boulevards last weekend.
