Abducted Central Valley Baby Found Safe, Amber Alert Canceled
PORTERVILLE, Calif. (AP) -- An Amber Alert issued Tuesday for an 8-month-old boy who authorities said was kidnapped with his mother from their Central Valley home by the boy's father has been canceled after the boy and his mother were found safe.
Sebastian Mosqueda and his mother Monserrat Caracoza, 18, were abducted around 2 a.m. from Porterville by Pedro Mosqueda, 23, according to the Tulare County Sheriff's Office.
The boy and mother were found safe overnight. The suspect will likely face parental abduction and kidnapping charges.
