Accused Citrus Heights Principal Makes Brief Court Appearance
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- The Citrus Heights principal accused of child molestation was in court briefly Friday.
Robert Adams, principal of Creative Frontiers School, had his hearing continued to Nov 4.
Police abruptly shut down the charter school in July to investigate molestation charges. Adams was arrested about six weeks later.
Parents say Adams did not refund the tuition. Adams' attorney says police took billing records as part of their investigation but they plan to honor the refunds. Some parents paid fall tuition and others paid for a full year in advance.
Adams faces felony charges of lewd and lascivious behavior with a child under 14 and a misdemeanor charge of annoying or molesting a child under 18.
Adams had his wife, daughters and dozen or so supporters with him in court Friday.
