Above Normal Temperatures Expected With Sunny, Dry Week Ahead
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Sunday was filled with sunshine for most parts of the valley, serving as a preview of the week ahead.
As snow showers linger in the high county after picking up a few inches of snow overnight, Sunday night showers will slow and skies will clear in the valley. Expect a chilly night for most locations in Northern California.
Sacramento will drop down to the mid 30s, while the high county will hover in the 20s and teens.
It'll be a cool start to the work week and throughout as Monday and the week ahead will be marked by sunshine and above normal daytime highs, mainly in the 50s and low 60s.
However, be careful during that morning commute Tuesday, as some fog will start to develop Monday night into Tuesday morning for valley locations, but will dissipate before the lunch hour.
With high pressure firmly overhead, the storm track will be pushed to the north with no precipitation expected for most of the week.
