$50,000 Reward For Vallejo Murder

VALLEJO, Calif. (AP) -- Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger is offering a $50,000 reward for information that will solve the last year's fatal shooting of a Vallejo teenager.

Authorities say 19-year-old Ivan Orozco was drinking milkshakes and talking with his girlfriend in his car on the night of Nov. 4, 2009, when three men tried to rob the teenagers. Vallejo police say the assailants pulled the girl from the car and threw her to the ground, then fatally shot Orozco.

Schwarzenegger announced the reward for the Orozco case Tuesday.

The governor's reward program has offered 294 rewards since 1967; 22 of them have been paid for leading to arrests and convictions in the cases.
