4.5-Magnitude Earthquake Jolts Parts Of Southern California
BANNING, Calif. (AP) - An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 4.5 has shaken the inland region of Southern California.
The U.S. Geological Survey says the quake occurred at 6:42 a.m. Wednesday and was centered 4 miles northwest of Banning, about 85 miles east of Los Angeles.
A Riverside County sheriff's dispatcher in the region says it was felt but there were no immediate calls about damage or injury.
