UPDATE: Second Suspect Arrested In Modesto Double Homicide

MODESTO (CBS13) - Police detectives have arrested a second suspect in connection with last week's double homicide in northeast Modesto.

On Friday detectives arrested 26-year-old Nicholas Spangler of Ceres in connection with the shooting deaths of Rolando Luna, 15, and Andrew Ensey, 19. He was also booked on two counts of homicide into the Stanislaus County Jail.

Robbie Blackwell, 20, of Modesto was arrested on Thursday and also charged with two counts of homicide.

Officers were called to the 2400 block of Vera Cruz on Feb. 10 to investigate a shooting and found Luna and Ensey both with gunshot wounds in front of an apartment complex.

Luna was pronounced dead at the scene.Ensey was transported to a local hospital but died from his injuries the next day.

Detectives are still continuing with this investigation and are following up on additional leads.
