2-Year-Old Boy, Dog Killed In Southern California House Fire
HEMET, Calif. (AP) -- Riverside County authorities say a two-year-old boy was killed when flames ripped through a house in Hemet.
The Press-Enterprise newspaper reports Nico Torres was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Officials say a dog was also killed in the fire, which was reported Friday morning.
It took firefighters about 20 minutes to knock down the flames.
The cause of the fire is under investigation Sunday.
