2 Teens Killed In Sunday Morning Collision
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Two teens died after a Sunday morning collision.
A Mazda sedan, with three passengers, drifted into the pathway of an RV, with an elderly couple, just after 10 a.m. on West Riego Road near Highway 99, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The 17- and 19-year-olds inside of the Mazda died at the scene, while the third was transported to a nearby hospital with major injuries. The elderly couple in the RV was not injured, according to authorities.
The cause of the collision is still being investigated.
