2 Arrested For Murder Of Man Killed Near South Sacramento Playground
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Two men have been arrested in connection to a Wednesday morning murder near a south Sacramento park.
Colen Lugo, 42, of Sacramento was found slumped over the steering wheel of a Lugo's Moving Service van near Caymus Park at Caymus Drive and Vintage Park Drive with a gunshot wound.
Deputies arrested 28-year-old Anthony Roberson-Anders and 25-year-old Kevin Henry on murder charges.
Roberson-Anders was arrested early Thursday morning by Bakersfield police during a traffic stop. Detectives believe his vehicle was used during the fatal shooting. Authorities say Roberson-Anders has an existing warrant for an unrelated incident.
Henry was arrested early Friday morning, also in Bakersfield.
Detectives are not searching for any other suspects at this time.
Investigators believe the shooting occurred during a drug transaction for marijuana.
Roberson-Anders and Henry have been booked into Kern County Jail and are ineligible for bail.
